Common Permission Problems
Understand role hierarchy, channel overwrites, embeds, and moderation failures.
If the bot cannot assign roles or moderate members, check role hierarchy first. The bot's highest role must be above the target role or member.
If messages, embeds, or logs do not appear, check Send Messages, View Channel, Read Message History, Embed Links, and channel-specific overwrites.
Discord permissions and web panel permissions are separate. A user can see a server in Discord but still lack access to dashboard settings.
